The In-eff-able Studio — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how The In-eff-able Leader, LLC ("we," "us," "our") handles information when you use The In-eff-able Studio (the "Studio"), which includes the Teaching Assistant ("TA"), the Programming (videos, workbook, and workflow), and Office Hours summaries.

1. What we collect.

  • Your conversations and inputs — the messages, questions, and reflections you type into the Teaching Assistant, and anything you submit elsewhere in the Studio.
  • Account / contact information — such as your name and email, so we can give you access and communicate with you.
  • Usage and technical data — such as when and how you use the Studio, and general device/technical information, to keep it working and secure.

2. How we use it.

We use your information to:

  • provide the Studio and deliver the coaching experience to you;
  • maintain, secure, support, and improve the service;
  • communicate with you and administer your program.

3. Training the AI.

  • We do NOT currently use your conversations to train or improve the underlying AI model. Today, your conversations are used to serve you.
  • We may use them to train or improve the model in the future. If we do, we will update this Policy and notify you before that change takes effect.

4. What we do NOT do.

  • We do NOT sell your personal information.
  • We do NOT share your conversations publicly.

5. Service providers and AI.

We use trusted third-party service providers to operate the Studio — for example, providers that host our content and platform, store data, and help us communicate with you. These providers process your information only on our behalf and only to provide their services to us.

AI providers. The Teaching Assistant and some other Studio features are powered by AI services run by other companies. To do their work, these providers receive some of your personal information. We ask for your permission in the app before any of your information is first sent to them.

  • Anthropic (Claude)
    • What it receives: your messages and conversation history, files and images you share, and the profile, workbook and coaching context the Teaching Assistant draws on.
    • Why: to write the Teaching Assistant's replies and summaries, and to recognise patterns in your growth.
  • Google (Vertex AI and Speech-to-Text)
    • What it receives: your voice recordings when you speak to the Teaching Assistant, the text of your messages and files, and the descriptions you give when you ask it to create images or video.
    • Why: to turn your voice into text, to find relevant past conversations and material, and to create the images or video you ask for.

These providers:

  • use your information only to provide their service to us, under data-processing terms that limit what they can do with it;
  • are not permitted to use your information to train their AI models;
  • keep it only for a limited time set by their terms, and longer only to investigate misuse or where the law requires.

New AI providers. We may add or change AI providers as the Studio develops. If we add one, we will update this list and ask for your permission in the app before sending it any of your information.

We may also run AI models on infrastructure we control. When we do, your information stays with us and this Policy applies as it does to everything else we hold.

6. How long we keep it.

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Studio and for our legitimate business and legal purposes. If you ask us to delete your account or information, we will stop displaying it to you, but you understand and agree that some information may not be completely removed and that copies may continue to exist in our records, backups, or systems. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible or liable for the removal, deletion, or failure to remove or delete any of your information.

7. Your choices and rights.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing support@ineffableleader.com.

  • AI permission: you can withdraw your permission for AI providers at any time in Settings → AI data sharing. From then on, none of your information is sent to them. The Studio depends on these services, so while your permission is withdrawn you can still sign out, or email us to delete your account, but not use the Teaching Assistant. Withdrawing doesn't delete information already processed; to delete it, delete your account or email us.
  • California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, to correct it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information.

8. If you are outside the United States (EU/UK and others).

The Studio is operated from the United States, and your information will be processed and stored in the U.S., which may have different data-protection laws than your country. By using the Studio, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. If you are in the EU or UK, you may have additional rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR — including to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise these, email support@ineffableleader.com.

9. Security.

No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard steps to protect your information.

10. Children.

The Studio is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13; if we learn we have, we will delete it.

11. Changes.

We may update this Policy and will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date.
